- Phramongkutklao Hospital in Bangkok was established on 26 November 1932 as a military hospital which is also opened to the public.
- It has several medical and surgical departments like Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Dentistry, Medicine, and Radiology.
- It also has Centres of Excellence namely - the Cancer Centre, Trauma Centre, Sirindhorn Heart Centre, Organ Transplantation Centre, and the Military Medicine Centre.
- Besides being an army hospital for the Royal Thai Army, it is also a teaching hospital Phramongkutklao College of Medicine training doctors and nurses for the military.
