• Dr. Rajinder Kaur Saggu has over 26 years of experience as a Surgical Oncologist.
• She specializes in early diagnosis & screening of breast cancer, breast disease management (benign and malignant), conventional breast conservation surgery, oncoplastic breast conservative surgery (level 1, 2, and selected level 3 cases), sentinel lymph node biopsy (dual tracer technique), and chemo port insertions.
• Her educational journey started with an MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Miraj, Maharashtra, 1998 and MS in General Surgery from Govt. Medical College, Patiala, 2002.
• In 2008, Dr. Saggu further pursued her passion as a senior research fellow in breast oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
• She was trained under Dr. Rajendra Badwe, learning advanced technologies, reconstructive techniques, and multimodal breast cancer treatments.
• She enhanced her expertise as a trainee in breast oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, under the guidance of Dr. Kelly Hunt.
• She further earned an MCh in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery from the University of East Anglia, UK, in 2023.
• Dr. Saggu actively promotes breast health awareness and a healthy lifestyle.
• She is a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI), ?the Delhi Breast Oncology Group (DBOG), the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), and the American College of Surgeons.
• She is fluent in English and Hindi.
