About Dr. Dipanjan Panda

Dr. Dipanjan Panda is a Medical Oncologist with over 24 years of experience.
His expertise lies in the treatment and management of Blood Cancer, Breast Cancer, Liver Cancer, Lung Cancer, Oral Cancer, Throat Cancer, etc.
His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Calcutta University in 2000, an MD in General Medicine from Ranchi University in 2005, and a DM in Medical Oncology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, 2010.
Dr. Panda also pursued a post-doctoral research fellowship at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts, USA, transitioning to a faculty position in India thereafter.
In 2011, he joined the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, where he established the medical oncology department and initiated the first dedicated Hepato Pancreato Biliary (HPB) Oncology unit in the country. Additionally, he launched a PDCC course in HPB oncology.
Dr. Panda has authored approximately 20 publications in various peer-reviewed national and international journals and has presented numerous lectures at national and international conferences.
He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the European Society of Medical Oncology.
