  • Dr. Birbala Rai is a highly experienced Gynecologist & Laparoscopic Surgeon with an experience of over 41 years.
  • Her particular interest includes Hysteroscopic surgery, Ultrasound-guided procedures (Ovarian Cyst Aspirations and Medical Terminations of Pregnancies and IUI), and Pregnancy Care, with a special interest in High-Risk Pregnancy, especially those complicated with Gastro, Renal, and Liver problems in pregnancy, Menopause, and Urogynae problems and Osteoporosis, etc.
  • She was instrumental in starting the Gynaecology Department at PSRI Hospital and nurtured it to a level where all gynecologic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic surgeries are now being performed.
  • She achieved both her MBBS and MS (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from Jabalpur University in 1977 and 1980, respectively.
